Mission Statement
Our mission is to spread goodness by empowering those who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children of all abilities. Through sports, we build a community that shows, while we may be different, we are also the same. By providing consistent opportunities, we are able to witness and celebrate the growth of each athlete’s unique abilities rather than their disabilities.
About
Game Changers Idaho was founded by Gabriel Moreno in the fall of 2018. Before we were officially a Non Profit, we were a small Adaptive Flag Football Program that offered an opportunity for kids with and without disabilities to play together. Since that time, we have grown into offering a variety of sports, reaching out to more kids along with Special Education programs in the Treasure Valley so they too have the chance representing their school colors in sports. We believe that every child, regardless of ability, should have every opportunity to play sports to their fullest potential. We want to be another source in the community where our participants are able to create friendships, to be included into team sports and to show what they are truly capable of doing. While playing sports, we are also teaching kids of all abilities what it truly means to help one another. Our volunteers range from Kindergartners to Adults where we are able to teach everyone patience, empathy and how to be leaders on and off the field. The first step is by being a genuine human being.
